Yesterday we had the great opportunity to meet David Portes through the Dialogue Café connection between Rio and Lisbon. It was a great experience! We spoke about how can we: designers (me and Susana) and sociologists (sandra) help on finding tools and strategies for street vendors change from informality to formality. We've got great insights from David, a fantastic person with an extreme experience on challenge... it was a very smiling session, as David said, the success, is the result of a good idea + attitude + a smile... We just left hoping to continue participating on Dialogue Café after such a rich experience! Who knows we will be able to have David speaking at Dbattle on design for the market this year in Lisbon, it would be great! :-)
